The Left of Lansing Monday Musing for May 20, 2024.
Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito is once again in the news. This time, Alito is blaming his wife for an upside-down American flag hanging outside their house after the January 6th insurrection. It’s another sign that all Democrats must run against this right-wing extreme majority of the Supreme Court this fall just as much as against Trump.
And Senate Democrats must run hearings on Justice Clarence Thomas’ dealings with a billionaire financier, and on Alito’s overt support for destroying our constitutional democracy.
Run against them, Democrats!
